Your meeting point for your Geronimo Rottnest skydive is:
Terminal Building, Rottnest Island Airport, Western Australia.
Walking time from arrivals jetty: 15 minutes
Cycling time from arrivals jetty: 5 minutes
Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time. There is no need to arrive any earlier.
On the day of your skydive, our Drop Zone Safety Officer will assess the wind direction and strength and choose a suitable landing area for the day. This landing area is subject to change throughout the day, as the weather conditions change. For this reason, we recommend that all spectators come to the Rottnest Island Airport, together with the skydive participants on the day of the jump to find out where the landing area will be.
Spectators will then be transported to the landing area, to watch the parachute landings (subject to availability). If our transfer vehicle is at full capacity (say in the case of a large group of spectators), there will be ample time for the group to make their own way to the landing location by foot, bike or shuttle bus.
These are our parachute landing locations, listed in order of frequency of use:
Accessed by a 100m beach track, located at the end of Hospital Lane, Kingstown Barracks Area, Rottnest Island.
Located to the East of Army Jetty, at the end of Army Jetty Road, Thomson Bay, Rottnest Island.
Salmon Bay Beach, Parker Point Road (Bus Stop 7,) Rottnest Island.
