This is Southern Skydivers first nomination for the Adventure Tourism Award, which is open to adventure tour operators across WA.

Mrs. Stutt continued: “The 30 page submission highlighted our contribution to the WA tourism industry, and was a fantastic opportunity to reflect on our achievements throughout the past year.”

Our submission was assessed by three different judges with the final score determined by an aggregate of the three scores. The Judging panel consists of representatives from Qantas, the National Trust of Australia (WA) and the Perth Airport.

Over 900 guests are expected to attend the Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards Gala Dinner on 25 October at Crown Perth, while winning the award would make us eligible to represent Western Australia at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards, going up against national competition.

Now in their 42nd year, the are designed to reward and promote excellence within the tourism industry. Tourism operators who enter the Awards provide themselves with the opportunity to be publicly recognised for their industry contribution and achievements over the last 12 months. The submission process involves an online submission and a site visit based program that form part of the National Tourism Awards program.
