Telethon Adventurers

Well they came, they conquered and what an amazing weekend it was! On the first weekend of October, Southern Skydivers was lucky enough to host the wonderful Telethon adventurers and helped them to reach yet another successful goal in the fight against child cancer!

These courageous fundraisers put their fears and anxieties aside and did their ‘jump for a cure’ raising over $60,000 for the cause! Southern Skydivers happily contributed by donating $70.00 for every jumper!

We have fond memories to take away and we know that our Telethon Adventurers had the time of their lives. You guys are fantastic! We look forward to seeing you again next year and keep up the good work!

Telethon Adventurers was first established in 2010, by Rick Parish and Peter Wilson. The Adventurers first fundraising venture in 2010 raised over $900,000, which was used to purchase a 3D molecular imaging machine the first of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. Today the Adventurers have the full support of the Telethon Institute and Princess Margaret Hospital and have officially been renamed the Telethon Adventurers.
