Whether you’re coming to Busselton for a day, weekend or a good long stay, you are sure to find plenty of fun things to do while you’re here!

These are just our top 5, you might discover yours is totally different…so get out there and explore!

Being the longest timber-piled Jetty in the Southern Hemisphere, you have to put this on your list of things to see while you’re here.

At 1.8km long, if you’re feeling energetic there’s nothing better than a stroll out to the end and back. Take your time, keep your eyes peeled and you’re bound to spot some hungry fish, stingrays or even dolphins swimming past!

If you’ve got little ones, likely to tire out halfway and want a ride on your shoulders, you can catch the train to the end instead!

Head out there in the evening and you’ll see lots of locals fishing off the side, hoping to catch a squid or two.

Hopefully this is part of the reason you’re coming to Busselton in the first place! You definitely can’t come this close to some of the most beautiful beaches around and not get your feet wet, build a sandcastle, or soak up some rays!

The beaches around Busso are wonderfully sheltered and quite often the water will be as calm as a lake, making it a perfect spot for families to play. If you’re worried about sea creatures, there is a good sized area netted off near the jetty for swimming.

If you aren’t keen on getting wet, a stroll along the beach is definitely good for the soul.

How could you come to such a beautiful part of the country and not want to see it from a birds-eye view?!

We operate all year round, so make the most of those crisp, clear winter days that are on their way and get up in the air…you won’t even notice the cold once you’re sitting at the door of the plane!

The view on the way up in the plane is incredible and the uninterrupted views of Geographe Bay on the way down are almost indescribable!

There are endless fun events, markets and festivals on in Busselton!

If you plan your trip right, you could see a concert at The Old Broadwater Farm, go to the local Vasse Markets, or join in the fun watching the Half or Full Ironman race.

This is just a tiny sample of the great events on year round in Busselton, and many of them are free. Check out the calendar of events for all the great things coming up in the next few months!

Busselton is flat and close to the ocean…and this makes bike riding easy and fun!

Bring your own bike, or hire one from the Visitors Centre (next to the Jetty), then follow the path along the coast as far as you like. The bike path is fantastic for a leisurely cruise after dinner, or first thing in the morning; it runs all the way from the Jetty to West Busselton and on to Dunsborough if you’re really keen!

Wherever you start from, there are parks, restaurants and lots of quiet beach spots you can stop at along the way. Many of the beachside resorts lead right onto the bike path, so you can cycle to/from your door if you’re staying overnight!

So if you are making a skydiving trip to Busselton, make sure to make the most of your time in this beautiful spot! You’ll be sure to take home some awesome pictures, and epic memories.
